About me!

Scott Yezzi (he/him) is a New York based stage manager and music director originally from the Philadelphia area. He lives life with an optimistic “can-do” attitude and brings that perspective to every aspect of his work. From a very young age, whether it be dancing to the Into the Woods soundtrack, taking piano lessons, or putting on full fledged productions with his stuffed animals, Scott has always had a passion for theatre. It was in his junior year of high school that this passion was fully realized in the form of music and management. Now, Scott’s work is driven from a place of joy and collaboration. He strives to bring light into whatever space he is in, while also focusing on fostering a safe, accessible, and loving working environment for everyone that he works with. When not working, Scott can be found making friends with the Sea Lions at the Central Park Zoo, obsessing over shows like Survivor and Big Brother, or daydreaming about what life could possibly have in store for him next.
As a stage manager, Scott has worked on numerous off-broadway productions while also working at Fordham University fine-tuning his craft. Off Broadway: Friends: The Musical Parody (PSM), Onassis (SM), Straight Forward (ASM). Additional Credits: Dead Man’s Cell Phone (PSM), The Practice Room (PSM), Tartuffe (SM), Hand to God (SM), Girldboss (ASM)
As a music director, Scott has worked on a wide variety of productions, including existing and new works, cabarets, and producing his own work. Select Credits: Spring Awakening (Art NY), Next to Normal (MD), Indecent (MD), Ordinary Days (MD), Even So: A Radical Celebration of Joy (MD), Fucking A (Assoc. MD)
